Thai Airways Fieldtrip
On 9th March students of our faculty had been invited to enjoy another outside-classroom activity that is frequently offered next to daily courses. The faculty arranged a field trip from Siam University to headquarter of Thai Airways (TG) Training Center at Laski/Bangkok.
45 students had the opportunity to get a close and interesting insight in to the Mock-up training of TG staff. All new recruited members have to undertake a variety of training classes before working at the real aircraft. All full-time employees are asked to complete follow up trainings in order to fulfill the high standards of the airline industry.
Khun Wachana Panmanee, Director of the Cabin Crew Training Department and Ajarn Chalat Montriwadee, Division Manager, gave a warm welcome to our students followed by an interesting presentation talking about TG brand and history as well as recruitment regulations.
Later on our students were invited to get an insight in to the staff training at the simulation center facilities. They gained knowledge about how to pack luggage properly inside an aircraft, passenger service on board and emergency procedure. Furthermore students could take the opportunity to talk to TG training staff directly about recruitment details and requirements and get more information about a future internship or job entry.
TG as member of Star Alliance and Thailand’s no. 1 airline is well known for its warm service and “Touch of Silk” hospitality. International Program is grateful for an interesting visit and looks forward to a long lasting cooperation with Thai Airways International.
