Congratulations to all our GRADUATES of 2011 

The IT & CMA and CTW Asia-Pacific trade show was held from 4-6 October, 2011 at the Bangkok Convention Center at Central World. The unique twinning of these two organizations was a perfect opportunity to present MICE destinations and Corporate Travel products and services.

The event included the IMEX-MPI Future Leaders Forum. This allowed students to participate with professionals from the industry. There were two competitions during the Forum. The first is called "The Perfect Event". This is a group presentation where the students must organize and present a creative event itinerary for 10 people to show off Thailand's strong points as a MICE destination. The second competition is called "The University Challenge".

This competition is done by individuals who prepared individual presentations in advance. They are required to come up with a creative alternative to traditional exhibitions, and then present it in a 10 minute speech.

This year, six students were selected from Siam University who competed in solar- and in team projects during the Forum. Only 60 were selected from throughout Thailand. The students from Siam included:

One of our students was honored as the best entry at the University Challenge competition, taking 1^st place.

Mr. Pratchaya Tathong was awarded first place; the prize being a trip to Frankfurt, Germany to compete in the Future Leaders Forum at the IMEX trade show in May 2012.

This year was the most successful Future Leaders Forum that Siam University has ever participated in. Participants have had a great time that was filled with meeting new friends and contacts and attending glamorous welcome ceremony and gala dinners. Besides a lot of fun and excitement, students have learned a lot from each other and from professionals of the industry for their own future.

All of the students, who participated in the Future Leaders Forum this year, had to pass two very beneficial classes from the International Program in Hotel and Tourism at Siam University before. These classes were Convention Management and Exhibition Management. Both of these classes taught the essential aspects to organize and manage a successful event. Both classes are taught by Assoc. Professor Dr. Bongkosh Ngamsom Rittichainuwat at Siam University.
